“Solidarity is “a firm and persevering determination to commit oneself to the common good, that is to say, the good of all…because we are all really responsible for all”.
Pope John Paul II, On Social Concern, 1987
It’s a Family Affair: Catholic Relief Services, Fair Trade, Social-Economic Justice and Our Parish
As conscientious consumers, our mindful and compassionate concern and personal involvement in applying the principles of Catholic Social Teaching to our lives has purposeful affects on our brothers and sisters all around the globe.
The intention, opportunity, and action in experiencing these themes in our faith in real time—being in partnership with those creative and ingenious and most vulnerable—comes to our parish each year in our “Work of Human Hands” Festival.
