Baptisms at the Basilica
For information on child and infant baptism click here.

Adults and children seven years or older must participate in our Faith Formation program to prepare them for baptism.

Permission to Baptize Child at another Catholic Church

Parishioners scheduling baptisms elsewhere will need to request a letter from the Pastor giving his permission. Complete form to the right to request this letter.

Sacrament of Marriage
For information about weddings at the Basilica, please review our Wedding Website and complete the Wedding Inquiry. There is a minimum requirement of six months for marriage preparation required in the Diocese of Charlotte. At lease one of the engaged couple must be a practicing Catholic.
