The Basilica of Saint Lawrence is a beautiful, historic Catholic Church nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina. All of the images in this site were taken on the premises and attest to the sacredness and ageless beauty in which this Church was built.  You can see why so many couples choose to celebrate their wedding here. All weddings are held at the Basilica of Saint Lawrence on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. Due to weekend Masses and other Sacramental celebrations, this is the only day and time available to schedule weddings.  At this time we are not equipped to accomodate wedding receptions. The Asheville Chamber of Commerce and Explore Asheville are excellent resources for locating reception venues and other amenities.
